District 9 High School Volleyball Playoffs:
The DuBois Lady Beavers volleyball team won its ninth straight District 9 Class 3A championship with a 3-0 sweep of Bradford Monday night at St. Marys High School.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
It was another monumental game for Sidney Crosby last night as the Penguins doubled up on the St. Louis Blues in Pittsburgh, 6-3. Crosby recorded his 1,700th career point, becoming only the ninth player in NHL history to reach that mark.
Tonight, the Pens take on cross-state rival Philadelphia. Game time for the Penguins and Flyers is 6pm. Tune in for the Pens pregame show on Connect FM at 5 this afternoon.
