The Pittsburgh Steelers are in Dublin, Ireland for Sunday’s match up with the Minnesota Vikings. Both Pittsburgh and Minnesota are 2-and-1 heading into the game. Kickoff will be at 9:30 Eastern time Sunday morning.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates played the role of spoiler last night as they eliminated Cincinnati from a playoff run. The Bucs beat the Reds, 4-3, in 11 innings. The third and final game of the Bucs’ next-to-last series of the season is today with the first pitch scheduled for 12:40. Listen for the Pirates-Reds pregame show at 12:15 this afternoon on Connect FM.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins are still looking for their first preseason game win. The Pens fell at Columbus last night, 4-1. Pittsburgh’s first home preseason contest will be Friday night against Detroit at PPG Paints Arena. The regular season for the Penguins begins on Tuesday, October 7th.
