The Pittsburgh Steelers take their 1-and-1 record to New England Sunday as they face the Patriots. The Steelers and Patriots are scheduled to kick it off at 1 Sunday afternoon in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates were doubled up by the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park yesterday, 8-4.
The Pirates are off today. They begin their final home series of the season Friday night against the Oakland As. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40. Listen for the Bucs pregame show at 6:15 Friday evening on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Double-A affiliate of the Pirates, the Altoona Curve, are a game up on Erie in the Eastern League Division playoff series. Game two of the series between the Curve and Sea Wolves is scheduled to be played in Erie tonight at 6:35.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins begin training camp today at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. Pittsburgh faces off with Montreal on Monday in the first preseason game. The regular season for the Penguins begins on October 7th.
