The Pittsburgh Pirates are back to a .500 overall record for the season after beating the White Sox in Chicago last night, 4-2.

Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve won their third game in a row last night, a 9-5 victory over the Akron Rubber Ducks. The Curve and Akron will play a double-header today at PNG Field. The first game of the twin bill starts at 4:30 this afternoon.
