FRIDAY – QUARTERFINAL ROUND:

The lone District 9 basketball team still alive in the PIAA championship tournament will be in action Friday. The Elk County Catholic boys, 68-48 winners over Serra Catholic on Tuesday, will be facing the District 10 champs, Erie First Christian. The game will be played at Clarion’s Tippin gymnasium.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins are in Las Vegas for game two of their current five-game road trip. Listen for the opening puck drop tonight at 10. The Pens-Golden Knights pregame show begins at 9pm on Connect FM.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped a 7-2 decision to Baltimore Wednesday in a Spring Training game. This evening, the Bucs host the Atlanta Braves in Bradenton. The Pirates’ season-opening game is just two weeks away – Thursday, March 26th in New York, against the Mets.
