District 9 High School Soccer Playoffs:
Class 1A Boys Championship – Wednesday: Brockway 2, Elk County Catholic 1 … Second consecutive district title for the Rovers. Brockway will host the WPIAL, District 7 third-place finisher in the first round of the PIAA playoffs on Tuesday.
Class 1A Girls Championship – Wednesday: Karns City 7, Elk County Catholic 1
Class 3A Boys Subregional – TODAY: DuBois vs. Allderdice at Brookville
Class 3A Girls Subregional – TODAY: DuBois vs. Obama Academy at Brookville
District 9 High School Volleyball Playoffs:
The DuBois Lady Beavers volleyball team swept into the PIAA playoffs last night with a 3-0 win over Brashear of District 8. DuBois will play the WPIAL, District 7 champ in the opening round of the state playoffs on Tuesday.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the second of their four-game road trip tonight. The Pens face the Wild in Minnesota. Game time for the Penguins and Wild is 8pm. Tune in for the Pens pregame show on Connect FM at 7 this evening.
