The District 10 Little League All Star Baseball Tournaments roll on …
The DuBois Junior Baseball All Stars won two games over the weekend . The Juniors will next face the Elk County All Stars in a winner’s bracket matchup on Thursday. That game will come your way live on Sunny 106 at 6pm.
The DuBois Major All Stars also continue to advance through the winner’s bracket. On Wednesday, the DuBois Majors will take on the winner of tonight’s Bradford-Punxsutawney game. Listen live on Connect FM Wednesday at 6 as the DuBois Major All Stars make a push for the District 10 title.
The DuBois 8 to 10 year-old All Stars have dropped into the lower bracket in their tournament, but are still alive. DuBois 8 to 10-year olds will face Brookville in tournament action on Wednesday.

In the Major division, the DuBois All Stars fell to St. Marys, 3-2, in the championship matchup.
The DuBois 8 to 10-year old softball All Stars are District 10 champs after beating Punxsutawney, 11-0 on Saturday.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates swept the New York Mets over the weekend at PNC Park. On Sunday, the Bucs belted the Mets, 12-1.
Tonight, the Bucs start a three-game series with St. Louis. The first pitch of game one is scheduled for 6:40. Listen for the Pirates-Cardinals pregame show on Connect FM at 6:15 this evening.
Altoona Curve:
The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve just won five of six games in Maryland. Most recently, Altoona defeated the Chesapeake BaySox, 6-4, on Sunday. After a day off today, the Curve start a six-game, home and home series with Harrisburg.
