DuBois Central Catholic 66, Kane 36 – Ella Elensky netted 25 points to lead the Lady Cardinals

Punxsutawney 47, DuBois Central Catholic 40 – Natalie Burkett scored 13 points to lead the Lady Chucks, but DCC’s Ella Elensky netted a game-high 18 points.

Clearfield 79, Somerset 65 – Mia Helsel topped the Lady Bison scoring list with 28 points

DuBois High School Rifle Team:

The DuBois High School rifle team won another match Friday night … this one over Conemaugh Township. The final was DuBois, 1,333; Conemaugh Township, 1,269. The top shooter for DuBois was Brady Kiskaddon with a 281. He was followed by Jackson Shaffer with a 266, and Hailey Straub finished with a 265.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

Spring Training, and full-squad workouts officially begin this week for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Bradenton, Florida. The first Spring Training game for the Bucs will be on Saturday afternoon when the Pirates face Baltimore. Pittsburgh’s regular season starts March 26th with a game at the New York Mets.
