Boys:

DuBois, DuBois Central Catholic, Brockway, and Brookville begin the DuBois Holiday Tournament today.

St. Marys, Elk County Catholic, Ridgway, and Johnsonburg begin the Elk County Holiday Tournament today.

Punxsutawney participates in the Indiana Christmas Tournament.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins came alive in Chicago Sunday night, winning 7-3.

The Pens host Carolina Tuesday night. The puck drop is scheduled for 7pm. The Pens-Canes pregame show begins at 6 tomorrow evening on Connect FM.

Penn State and Pitt Football:

The Penn State Nittany Lions defeated the Clemson Tigers 22-10 in the Pinstripe Bowl played at Yankees Stadium in New York on Saturday. It was Penn State’s fourth win in a row, giving the Nittany Lions a 7-and-6 season-ending record.

The Pitt Panthers fell to the East Carolina Pirates in the Military Bowl, 23-17, on Saturday. Pitt’s season-ending record is 8-and-5.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers came up short to division rival Cleveland Sunday, 13-6. The loss sets up a regular season finale and divisional championship game at home against the Baltimore Ravens next week. The Steelers and Ravens have an 8:20 kickoff time scheduled for Sunday night at Acrisure Stadium.
