Elk County Catholic 51, Otto-Eldred 24 – The Crusaders’ win was the 1,000th victory for Aaron Straub as head coach of the boys team.

DuBois 73, Cranberry 60 – History was made as Maddox Bennett became the Beavers’ all-time leading scorer. Bennett netted 33 points in the game, and surpassed Joel Volansky’s career total of 1,152.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins won a pair of weekend games to improve their winning streak to five games. Saturday, the Pens beat the Detroit Red Wings, 4-1. Yesterday, the Penguins came from three goals down to nip the Columbus Blue Jackets in overtime, 5-4.

Next for the Pens is a home game against New Jersey on Thursday. The puck drop is scheduled for 7pm. The Pens pregame show begins at 6 Thursday evening here on Connect FM.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into the playoffs as champions of the AFC North Division. The Steelers took down the Baltimore Ravens at Acrisure Stadium last night, 26-24. The win propels Pittsburgh into a Wild Card playoff game at home against the Houston Texans next Monday night at 8pm.
