Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins made it a four-game sweep on their trip out west with a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday.

The Pens are off until Thursday when they are scheduled to host Chicago. The Penguins pregame show starts at 6 with the opening faceoff at 7pm on Connect FM.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

Over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly came to a verbal agreement to hire Mike McCarthy as the team’s next head coach. McCarthy has been a head coach in the NFL for 18 seasons –13 of them with the Green Bay Packers, and five with the Dallas Cowboys. McCarthy is a Pittsburgh native, and he has compiled an overall NFL head-coaching record of 174-112-2. He also led the Packers to a Super Bowl championship over the Steelers in 2011.
