District 9 / PIAA Football Playoffs
Class 3A: Tonight, the District 9 champion Brockway Rovers host Penn Cambria, the District 6 champs, at Frank Varischetti Field in Brockway. Tune in for live action on Sunny 106, or watch at Tri-County – dot – TV. The pregame show begins at 6:30. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
Class 4A: For the first time since 2009, the Punxsutawney Chucks get their shot in the PIAA football playoffs. Tonight, the Chucks take on Oil City, the District 10 champs, at Oil City.
Class 2A: Tonight, District 9 Class 2A champion Karns City is hosting the champs of District 10, Farrell.
Class 1A: A District 9, Class 1A champion will be crowned in Kane tonight. Top-seeded Port Allegany will do battle against Redbank Valley for the district title.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins will be playing hockey in Sweden today and Sunday as part of the NHL’s Global Series. The Pens will play the Nashville Predators this afternoon, and again on Sunday morning.
Face off time for the Penguins and Nashville today is at 2pm. Tune in for the Pens-Preds pregame show at 1 on Connect FM. On Sunday, the pregame show begins at 8am with the opening puck drop scheduled for 9am.

Pittsburgh Steelers:
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face division-rival Cincinnati. The Steelers lead the AFC North Division with their overall record of 5-and-4. The Bengals come into the contest at 3-and-6. Kickoff time at Acrisure Stadium is set for 1pm.
