District 9 High School Football: Week 9 SCHEDULE

Thursday:

Central Clarion 35, DuBois 19 – The Wildcats held DuBois quarterback Trey Wingard to only 10 completions, and below 200 yards of passing. Wingard did, however, set a new DuBois career touchdown pass record as he threw for his 88th and 89th in the game.

The District 9 boys and girls soccer playoffs begin on Monday.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ overcame an early two-goal deficit last night and dethroned the Kings in LA, 4-2.

Pittsburgh continues their West Coast trip in San Jose tomorrow. Tune in for the Pens-Sharks pregame show Saturday night at 9 on Connect FM. The opening face-off is scheduled for 10pm.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

A Bengals field goal with seven seconds remaining in the game led Cincinnati over the Pittsburgh Steelers last night, 33-31. The Steelers drop to a 4-and-2 record, but remain atop the AFC North Division. Pittsburgh will host Green Bay in a Sunday Night contest on October 26th.
