DuBois Little League All Star Baseball:
The District 10 Tournament continues for three DuBois Little League Baseball All Star teams.
Today, the DuBois Major All Stars will be back in action in the winner’s bracket of the district tournament. Listen live on Connect FM this evening as DuBois takes on the Punxsutawney All Stars at 6pm.
The DuBois 8 to 10 year-old All Stars will be facing Brookville in the winner’s bracket on Wednesday.
The DuBois Junior All Stars begin their district tournament on Friday. Live action of the Junior Tournament games will come your way on Sunny 106 starting with the DuBois and Punxsutawney matchup at 6pm Friday.
The DuBois Senior All Stars already wrapped up a District 10 championship. DuBois has advanced to the Sectional Tournament, which is scheduled to begin next Monday.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates topped the Milwaukee Brewers last night, 5-4. It was the second straight win for the Bucs.
The Pirates and Brewers will play game two of the series tonight. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:35.
Altoona Curve:
The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve begins a six-game series in Maryland against the Chesapeake BaySox tonight. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:35.
