Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:

The Penn State DuBois baseball team is riding a 10-game win streak as they get ready to host LaRoche College today for a double-header. Also today, the Penn State DuBois softball team is hosting Penn Highlands Community College for a double-header.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The St. Louis Cardinals touched up Paul Skenes for five runs and the Cards downed the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday, 5-3. This afternoon, the Bucs wrap up the three game series with the Cardinals at PNC Park. It’s a 12:35 game. Listen for the Pirates pregame show at 12:10 today on Connect FM.

 

Altoona Curve:

The Altoona Curve dropped to an early-season record of 1-and-3 following a 6-5 loss to the Rubber Ducks in Akron last night. Game two of the Curve’s series in Akron is scheduled to start at 6:35 this evening.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins shut out Chicago at PPG Paints Arena Tuesday night, 5-0. Only three games remain for the Penguins this year. The final road game is Friday night at New Jersey. Listen for the Pens-Devils pregame show at 6:30pm, and the opening face-off at 7 Friday evening … on Sunny 106.
