Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:

The Penn State DuBois baseball team is up to a 10-game win streak. Over the weekend, Penn State DuBois swept a pair of double-headers from Penn State New Kensington. Next on the schedule for Penn State DuBois is a home double-header on Wednesday with LaRoche College. Meanwhile, the Penn State DuBois softball team notched a pair of wins over Penn State Beaver Friday. Penn State DuBois is scheduled to play a double-header at LaRoche College today.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates gave up a three-run lead going into the ninth inning yesterday against the New York Yankees, but the Bucs were able to salvage a win over the Yankees, 5-4, in 11 innings. St. Louis is in Pittsburgh for a three-game series. This evening, the Bucs host the Cardinals for a 6:40pm game. Listen for the Pirates pregame show at 6:15 tonight on Connect FM.

 

Altoona Curve:

The Altoona Curve nipped the Chesapeake Baysox yesterday, 2-1. The Curve begin a six-game series at Akron on Tuesday.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins fell to lowly Chicago Sunday, 3-1. The Pens host Chicago on Tuesday. Listen for the Pens-Blackhawks pregame show at 6:30pm, and the opening face-off at 7 Tuesday evening … on Sunny 106.
