Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:

The Penn State DuBois baseball team has won nine straight games, including four this past weekend over Penn State Beaver in home-and-home doubleheaders. Penn State DuBois will wrap up its regular season Tuesday with a doubleheader at Houghton College.

The Penn State DuBois softball team won a pair of games at Penn State Hazleton Friday, 8-5 and 15-6. The regular season concludes for Penn State DuBois softball Tuesday with a doubleheader at Penn State Scranton.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the LA Dodgers Sunday, 9 -2.

The Bucs are off today. The Chicago Cubs come into PNC Park for three games starting Tuesday. Listen for Tuesday’s pregame show at 6:15. The first pitch of the Pirates-Cubs match up is set for 6:35 on Connect FM.

 

Altoona Curve:

The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve finished their series with the Chesapeake BaySox with a 4-1 win on Sunday. The Curve won the series over the BaySox four games to two. Next for Altoona, a home series with Akron. It begins Tuesday night with the first pitch set for 6pm.

 

Pittsburgh Steelers – NFL Draft:

In the seven rounds of the NFL draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected the following: Oregon defensive lineman, Derrick Harmon; Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson; Ohio State linebacker Jack Sawyer; Iowa defensive lineman Yahya Black; Ohio State quarterback Will Howard; Washington linebacker Carson Bruener; and Central Michigan cornerback Donte Kent.
