St. Marys 14, Brookville 4 – Ben Paul drove in five St. Marys runs, and Tysen Beimel had a perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate with a double, three runs scored, and two RBI for the Dutch.
Punxsutawney 10, Philipsburg-Osceola 9 – Maddox Hetrick had a 3-for-4 day at the plate for the Chucks with two doubles, a run scored, and an RBI

DuBois 16, Brookville 1 – Ava Baronick drove in four runs for DuBois, and Audrey Hale hit two doubles and drove in three runs for the Lady Beavers
St. Marys 5, DuBois Central Catholic 0 – Avery Eckels pitched a two-hit shutout and struck out nine Lady Cardinal batters. Eckels was also 2-for-3 at bat with an RBI and a run scored for the Lady Dutch

Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The Penn State DuBois baseball team knocked off Penn State Shenango Thursday, 13-3. Today, Penn State DuBois is scheduled to play a double-header at Penn State Fayette. Also today, the Penn State DuBois softball team is hosting Penn State Mont Alto for a double-header.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
A first inning run held up for the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday. The Bucs claimed a 1-0 win over the Washington Nationals, and won the series three games to one. The Pirates host Cleveland during the Easter weekend. Tonight, the Bucs and Guardians play at 6:40. Catch the pregame show on Connect FM at 6:15.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates Double-A afiilate Altoona Curve upended Somerset Thursday night, 6-4, at PNG Field. The Curve and Patriots will go at it again in Altoona tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 6pm.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins’ season came to a close with a win last night over the Washington Capitals, 5-2. Pittsburgh ends the season with 80 points, and an overall record of 34-36-12.
