THURSDAY BASEBALL SCOREBOARD
DuBois Central Catholic 11, Keystone 1 – DCC’s Blake Pisarcik had a big game as he pitched a two-hitter, smacked a home run, and drove in three Cardinals runs. The one run scored by Keystone was unearned, and Pisarcik struck out 11 batters. Pisarcik, Brayden Fox, Evan Burton, and Aiden Snowberger each had two hits for DCC’s offensive attack.

Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The Penn State DuBois baseball team has four games on the schedule this weekend. Penn State DuBois has plans for a double-header at Penn State Allegheny on Saturday, and then will host Penn State Allegheny for a twin-bill on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Penn State DuBois softball team is bracing for a pair of weekend double-headers. Penn State DuBois is slated to host Kent State Tuscarawas on Saturday, and Penn State Fayette on Sunday.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates have won three of their last four games as they prepare to play three against the Reds in Cincinnati. Tonight, the Bucs and Cincinnati square off for a 6:40 game. Listen for the Pirates pregame show at 6:15 this evening on Connect FM.
Altoona Curve:
The Altoona Curve shut out the Rubber Ducks in Akron last night, 2-0. It was the second win of the year for Altoona. Game four of the Curve’s six-game series in Akron is scheduled to start at 7:05 this evening.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins are in New Jersey to take the ice against the Devils tonight. Listen for the Pens-Devils pregame show at 6:30pm, and the opening face-off at 7… on Sunny 106.
