MONDAY BASEBALL SCOREBOARD

Punxsutawney 10, Johnsonburg 0 – Coy Martino hit two doubles, scored twice, and drove in two runs to lead the Chucks

The Curwensville-Redbank Valley game was postponed

 

MONDAY SOFTBALL SCOREBOARD

DuBois 6, Hollidaysburg 5 – Ava Baronick hit a home run for the Lady Beavers

Karns City 10, Brookville 2

Punxsutawney 9, West Shamokin 0

Curwensville 8, Redbank Valley 0 – Addison Siple pitched a four-hit shutout and struck out 12 for the Lady Tide

The Elk County Catholic-Cranberry game was postponed

 

Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:

The Penn State DuBois baseball team is rolling on a six game win streak. Friday, Penn State DuBois will play a double-header at Penn State New Kensington.

The Penn State DuBois softball team, winner of several straight games, is scheduled to play two at Penn State New Kensington today.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates lost again. The Bucs fell to the Tampa Bay Rays Monday night, 6-1. The Pirates play Tampa Bay again tonight. The Bucs-Rays pregame show on Connect FM begins at 6:40. Tonight’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins are down to their final seven regular season games. Thursday night, the Pens visit St. Louis. The Pens-Blues pregame show will start at 7:30, and the opening face-off is scheduled for 8 Thursday night … on Sunny 106 and Connect FM.
