Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The Penn State DuBois baseball team defeated Central Maine Community College at Showers Field Thursday, 13-2. Tomorrow, Penn State DuBois is scheduled to host Kent State Tuscarawas for an afternoon double-header.
Today, the Penn State DuBois softball team is in Maryland for a double-header at Allegany College. Sunday afternoon, the Penn State DuBois softballers are slated to play a double-header at Kent State Tuscarawas.
PIAA Basketball Playoffs
Tonight, the lone District 9 basketball team still alive in the PIAA playoffs semifinal round … Class A boys champs, Otto-Eldred … will tip off for the Class A Western Pennsylvania championship against Neighborhood Academy of the WPIAL. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 tonight in Erie.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates will face the Boston Red Sox in a spring training game in Florida this evening. Listen for Pirates baseball on Connect FM starting at 6. The Bucs open the regular season in Miami next Thursday.
