Brookville 54, Clarion 45 – overtime – Kellan Haines led the Raiders with 18 points

DuBois Central Catholic 64, Brockway 30 – Top scorer for DCC was Marina Hanes with 15 points

Ridgway 55, Smethport 26 – Sophia Fullem led the Lady Elkers with 18 points

Penn State DuBois Basketball:

Both Penn State DuBois basketball teams recorded wins over Penn State Beaver on Saturday afternoon. Penn State DuBois women notched a 65-62 victory, while the men’s team outscored Penn State Beaver, 81-71. The Penn State DuBois teams will play at Penn State New Kensington Tuesday evening.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins shut out Nashville Saturday night, 3-0. Captain Sidney Crosby extended his goal streak to four games, and Sid has found the net in five of the Pens’ last six games. Tuesday night, the Penguins host the New Jersey Devils. The game begins at 7pm. The Pens-Devils pregame is scheduled to come your way at 6:30 … on Connect FM and Sunny 106.
