BOYS (Saturday)

DuBois 46, Warren 36 – Thacher Hanzely led the Beavers with 18 points

Union 53, Brockway 42 – Caleb Daugherty topped the scoring list for the Rovers with 18 points

Clarion-Limestone 53, Punxsutawney 30

GIRLS (Saturday)

DuBois Central Catholic 43, Cameron County 20 – Leading all scorers was DCC’s Hope Jacob with 14 points

Brockway 51, Union/A-C Valley 32 – Brockway was led by Sophia Schmader with 18 points

Redbank Valley 52, Elk County Catholic 41 – Payton Newton had a 22-point performance for the Lady Crusaders

Penn State DuBois Basketball:

The Penn State DuBois women’s basketball team won a pair of games over the weekend while the Penn State DuBois men dropped both of their games. On Friday, Penn State DuBois women upended Penn State Hazelton, 80-38; and Saturday it was a 96-20 victory over Penn State Scranton. The Penn State DuBois men fell to Penn State Hazelton 81-69 on Friday, and then lost to Penn State Scranton, 90-89, on Saturday. Both Penn State DuBois basketball teams play at Penn State Fayette Tuesday evening.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins lost 4-1 at Washington on Saturday.
