College Basketball:
The Penn State DuBois men’s basketball team split their weekend games … winning over Penn State-Lehigh Valley Friday night, 84-65; then losing to Penn State-Schuylkill on Saturday 102-92. … Penn State DuBois women dropped both games … 67-64 Friday night to Penn State-Lehigh Valley, and then it was a 58-46 loss to Penn State-Schuylkill on Saturday. Both Penn State DuBois teams are off until January 9th.
College Football:
The Penn State Nittany Lions, with an 11-2 record, are in the college football playoff bracket as the number 6 seed. Penn State will host 11th seeded SMU on Saturday at Noon.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to 10-and-4 following their 27-13 loss to cross-state foe Philadelphia on Sunday. Next for the Steelers is a game at Baltimore on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30pm.
