DuBois High School Rifle Team:
The Dubois High School Rifle Team outshot DuBois Central Catholic Thursday night. The final score was DuBois-1362, DCC-1285. The top three scores for DuBois came from Brady Kiskaddon – 285 (a personal best); Alexia Austin – 274 (also a personal best); and Jackson Shaffer – 272.
Penn State DuBois Basketball:
The Penn State DuBois men’s and women’s basketball teams are on the road this weekend. Both Penn State DuBois hoops teams will play at Penn State Hazleton tonight, and they have games scheduled at Penn State Scranton Saturday afternoon.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins have lost seven of their last eight games as they get ready to play their next seven contests on the road – starting in Buffalo tonight.

Pittsburgh Pirates:
On this week’s opening day of the international signing period for Major League Baseball teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates signed 16-year-old shortstop Johan De Los Santos. De Los Santos of the Dominican Republic is considered the the number 23-ranked prospect in this year’s international class by MLB’s Pipeline. The deal between the Pirates and De Los Santos is reportedly worth more than $2-million.
