DuBois Christian School 26, Huntingdon Calvary Christian 21 – Ella Shenkle scored 12 points for DCS

Brookville 38, Bradford 35 – Sam Whitling lead Brookville with 14 points

Clearfield 68, Bellwood-Antis 60 – Eve Helsel had a 21-point performance for Clearfield while Sonny Diehl added 20 points

GIRLS (Saturday)

DuBois 47, Brockway 28 – Audrey Kennis contributed 12 points to lead DuBois

DuBois Central Catholic 60, Warren 44 – Emma Elensky was the Lady Cardinals top scorer with 18 points

Elk County Catholic 47, St. Marys 38

Penn State DuBois Basketball:

The Penn State DuBois men’s and women’s basketball teams host Berkeley this evening. The women tip off at 6. The men’s game is scheduled to begin at 8.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins are slumping again. The Pens have lost five of their last six games, including a 5-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Next for the Penguins is a Tuesday night home game against Seattle. The Pens-Kracken pregame show starts at 6:30. The opening puck drop is scheduled for 7pm tomorrow night … on Connect FM and Sunny 106.

 

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers were quickly eliminated from the AFC playoffs Saturday night, falling to the Ravens in Baltimore, 28-14 in a wildcard game. The Steelers’ season ended with a 10-8 record, and they dropped five straight games to close out the season.
