Curwensville Area School District Celebrates “Logs to Lumber” with America 250 Celebration
CURWENSVILLE, PA — The Curwensville Area School District is proud to announce its
upcoming Logs to Lumber event on Friday, May 15th, featuring a special tribute to the America
250 celebration. Highlights of the day include a visit from the America 250 mobile unit—assisted
by Curwensville students—and a high-power demonstration scheduled for 10:00 AM at the
Fairman Center lot. The event offers a unique educational experience where the community can
witness traditional wood processing firsthand, browse a variety of student-made items for sale,
and join in honoring the nation’s upcoming semiquincentennial. All community members and
media outlets are invited to attend this showcase of local talent, heritage, and school spirit.
