(BURLESON, Texas) — A suspect is at large after shooting a Texas police officer multiple times during a traffic stop overnight, authorities said.
The injured Burleson police officer was taken to a Fort Worth hospital after the shooting, which took place at about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, Burleson police said.
His condition is unknown, police said.
Police said they are canvassing the area for suspects.
Burleson is about 45 miles southwest of Dallas.
