By Emily Shapiro, ABC News

(BUFFALO, Minn.) — A suspect is in custody after a shooting at the Allina Health Clinic Crossroads campus in Buffalo, Minnesota, on Tuesday, the Buffalo police said.

Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke told ABC affiliate KSTP that there are victims, although “we don’t know of any fatalities right now.”

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is sending agents to the scene, where they said there are “multiple victims.”

Some victims were taken to North Memorial Health, spokeswoman Abigail Greenheck told ABC News. Details on how many victims and their conditions were not provided.

Agents from the Minneapolis/St. Paul field division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are headed to the scene, a spokesperson told ABC News. Buffalo is about 50 miles northwest of Minneapolis.

Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar tweeted that Buffalo is “not far from where I grew up.”

“So sad for all those there at clinic and those injured and praying for their recovery,” she tweeted. “Thanks to those saving lives right now. Gun violence must stop.”

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
