DUBOIS – A nonprofit group has opened their doors in DuBois, expanding opportunities for people with disabilities across Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk counties.
CEO of PA Connecting Communities, Kelly O’Malley, tells us that they have expanded to the Tri-County, renovating a former plumbing company at 7 West Logan Avenue and transforming it into a space where people can build life skills, form friendships, and connect.
“We also want to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to find volunteer opportunities that hopefully will lead to meaningful employment for people with disabilities,” explained O’Malley.
The organization also offers in-home support, employment services and community activities for people with disabilities.
They will host an official grand opening Tuesday October 27th with live music, food, giveaways, and activities for you to enjoy.
