DuBois Sign Receiving State Funding

DUBOIS – A new electronic sign planned for DuBois’ City Park is getting a boost from state funding.

State Representative Mike Armanini tells us that around $46,000 dollars in state funding is marked for the sign after city leaders reached out for help paying for it.

“We were able to bring back that funding to the city to save them $46,000 and help them make the city of DuBois brighter with a new signage that is going to be going up,” said Armanini.

The sign will replace the current broken display and will be used for emergency alerts, city announcements, nonprofit events, and other community messages.
