DUBOIS – This weekend you can watch the musical “Heathers” at the Reitz Theater in DuBois.

Director Andy Benson tells us that this show follows Veronica, a high school student who becomes part of a popular clique before things take a dark turn.

“The school is kind of run by a ruthless trio of girls all named Heather,” explained Benson. “So you have Veronica becoming a part of their clique through a series of events and then she also begins a relationship with the new kid, who was kind of mysterious, a guy named JD who’s again new in town. And then shortly after that murder and mayhem ensue.”

Showtimes begin this Friday through Sunday, with additional shows next Thursday through Saturday. Evening performances begin at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. You can get your tickets now through the Reitz Theatre website.
