DUBOIS – If you’re looking to pay your city taxes or utility bills in DuBois, you’ll soon have to go back to the City Building.
City Manager Joe Fleming says that the Treasury Department is moving from the old bank building at 35 West Scribner back to the City Building across the street, making it easier for you to get help with your bills.
“I wanted to make it to where our taxpayers and utility customers have a more personable experience,” explained Fleming. “Especially if there’s any questions, concerns, or issues that are presented within the bills or taxes that they may receive.”
The move will bring the Treasury and Finance departments back under one roof, while Code Enforcement will relocate to the former bank building.
The move takes effect October first, and drop boxes will remain available at both locations for your convenience.
