PHILIPSBURG – A Philipsburg man will spend up to one year in county jail after pleading guilty to stealing over $12,000 dollars from his employer.
According to police, 41 year-old Harold Burnett III was facing multiple theft charges after he allegedly stole $12,758.81 dollars from a Penn Township Dollar General while working as a store manager there.
Now, after pleading guilty to felony theft by unlawful taking, he was sentenced to spend between two months to a year in county jail. He must also pay restitution.
