DUBOIS – The City of DuBois is preparing for a plan that would make it easier and safer for you to walk, bike, use mobility aids, and access key buildings citywide.
City officials say they are working alongside the Pennsylvania Downtown Center through their WalkWorks Prep Program, with the goal of applying next year for state funding to develop an active transportation plan.
If DuBois receives the finding, the plan could lead to improvements aimed at making it safer and easier for you to get around the city without a car.
