CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man will spend up to 40 years in state prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a young girl.
Last week President Judge Paul Cherry deemed that 43 year-old Robert Hanna was a sexually violent predator after he pled guilty to 20 counts of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and aggravated indecent assault.
Hanna was originally accused of the assault after an 11 year-old victim reported that he sexually assaulted her multiple times a week for multiple months.
Hanna was then sentenced to spend between 10 to 40 years in State Prison with three years of consecutive probation. He must also register under Megan’s Law.
