Patricia Claire Mehall, age 91, of Brockway, PA, passed away at Concordia Health on September 10th, 2026.
Pat was born in Brockway to Frank and Sue (Biss) Mehall. After graduating from Brockway High School, she was employed as a secretary at Brockway Clay Company for many years. She retired to care for her aging mother and father until their passing.
The next chapter in her life led to fulfilling work at Mengle Memorial Library in Brockway. This satisfied her love of reading while making wonderful friends. Pat was a gifted musician, a talented artist, and a beloved aunt. For decades, she served as the organist at St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church, where she also worshipped. She had a wonderful eye for decorating as well as being impeccably put together and stylish. She also had a wry sense of humor that could bring a smile to those around her. Pat’s holiday baking was another expression of the love she shared with family and friends. Her Easter cookies and paska, in particular, were eagerly anticipated and became cherished family traditions.
Her many nieces and nephews have fond memories of visiting Aunt Pat at the old house on Broad Street and, later on Hewitt Street. They will also remember the little things that made Pat unmistakably Pat-including her firm belief that butter was the only choice and margarine simply would not do. Those familiar quirks, along with her warmth and devotion to family, are part of what made her so dearly loved.
She is survived by her sister, Susan McKeon, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great -nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bernard Mehall, Mary Kathryn Cservenyansky, Shirley Wilson, and Frank Mehall, Jr.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 19 from 9:30 AM till 10:45 AM in the chapel at St. Tobias Church in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 11:00 AM with Fr. John Detisch presiding. Burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery.
