Betty Jo Cyphert, age 51 of DuBois, PA died suddenly, Monday, August 17, 2026 at her home. Born on January 7, 1975 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Dunlap, Jr., and Carol Bruzga Dunlap. Her mother survives and lives in DuBois. On July 18, 1998 she married her husband of 28 years, William “Bill” Cyphert. He survives. Betty loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very loving and caring, and always put other above herself. She enjoyed babysitting and taking care of others. She had a heart of gold. Betty loved traveling, camping, and playing corn hole. She was affectionately known as “Golden Arm Betty” to her family and friends. She was a life member of the Adrian-Sandy Hose Company #3 and belonged to the Sandy Hose Company #1 Fireman’s Club. Along with her husband and mother, Betty is survived by one sister, Lesa Dunlap and her fiance Ken Holden of Falls Creek, PA, one brother, Steven Dunlap and his wife Missy of DuBois, PA, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Dunlap, her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ann Bruzga, mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Bertha, her brother-in-law, Eugene, Jr., and her nephew Damien. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 1 PM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
