DUBOIS – The DuBois School District’s summer food program wrapped up at the beginning of the month serving more than double the amount of meals to children and families in the community compared to last year.
DuBois Superintendent Wendy Benton says that this year the program gave over 14,000 meals to local children and their families.
“This significant growth demonstrates the importance of this program and the positive impact it continues to have on children and families throughout our community,” stated Superintendent Benton
This is more than double last year’s total of 6,508 meals, showing the impact that this program gives to local families.
