UNDATED – Three Jefferson and Clearfield County lumber companies have received federal Wood Innovation grants for forest management.
According to U.S. Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson, the three companies receiving a portion of more than the $1.5-million granted in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, include Brownlee Lumber and Gutchess Lumber in Jefferson County, and Forcey Lumber in Clearfield County.
Thompson said the funds were secured “to ensure these local businesses have the tools they need to help expand and strengthen our timber markets.”
