UNDATED – If you’re tired of spam calls, a new law could provide some relief.
Act 47 of 2026, now signed into law, bans telemarketers from spoofing local phone numbers or faking their identity to trick you into answering.
This also limits sales calls between 9am and 7pm Monday through Saturday with no calls on holidays.
Telemarketers will also have to clearly identify themselves and stop calling if asked.
This takes effect 90 days after it was signed into law.
