Michelle Rae Mesanko, 57, of Reynoldsville, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born in DuBois on January 3, 1969, a daughter of the late Fred Brewer.
On July 15, 1989, she married Thomas William Mesanko. They just celebrated their thirty-seventh anniversary.
She was a loving wife, devoted mother and cherished Mimi.
Michelle was full of life and had the biggest heart. She would do anything for the people she loved. Her kindness and generosity made everyone feel welcome and cared for. She also had a contagious laugh that could brighten any room.
Family was the center of her world. Michelle loved to decorate her home for her family to enjoy, she never missed an occasion or season to decorate for. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, selflessness that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her love will continue to guide those she left behind.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Derek (Sami Dinger) Mesanko of Big Run, Corey Mesanko of Reynoldsville, Kelsea Mesanko of Punxsutawney, Chelsea (fiancé Bailey Winkelman) Mesanko of Punxsutawney and Braedin Mesanko of Reynoldsville; five grandchildren, Onyx Mesanko, Axton Vrobel, Aubriella Winkelman, Arrowson Winkelman, and Creed Tedrow.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. Punxsutawney.
