Margaretta McKenrick Mahlon age 92 of Moore Lane Brockway, PA (Formerly of Grampian, PA) died on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on October 30, 1933 in Bloom Twp, PA; she was the daughter of the late Albert and Frances A. Nelson McKenrick. Margaretta was a 1953 graduate of the DuBois High School. She was married to Clair D. Mahlon on December 11, 1954 and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2006. Retired, Margaretta had been employed as a Dialysis Nurse. Margaretta was a member of the Grampian Church of God. She is survived by grandchildren Rusty Lee Fulmer, Karli F. (Holly) Chamberlin and Permella “Pee Wee” (Jason) McCloskey, a great grandson Gage M. Fulmer, a brother William “Bill” McKenrick and her son-in-law Edward Chamberlin. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a daughter Janet M. Chamberlin, a son Charles A. Mahlon, a sister Frances McKenrick, half-brothers Charles Edward Baum, Fredrick C. Baum; half sisters Dorothey Baum Myers and Jeanette Baum. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 18 at 11:00 AM at the Brookville First Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph Short officiating. The service will be held in the Deemer Room on the bottom floor of the church. A luncheon will immediately follow, also at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
