1939-2026
Patricia “Ann” Polohonki, age 87, of Falls Creek PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the early morning hours of July 10th, 2026.
Ann was born in DuBois, PA to the late Paul McKee and Alice (Brady) McKee on February 6th, 1939.
She graduated from DuBois Area High School, class of 1957, and was honored with the title “Miss DHS 1957.”
Ann married her loving husband Allan Polohonki Sr. on September 28, 1957; her husband precedes her.
Throughout her life, Ann was a lover of animals, especially cats, which was evident in her frequently worn leopard print clothing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking scenic car rides, shopping trips, and attending her grandchildren’s sports and activities. Ann loved going to casinos, gun raffles, the Reitz Theater, and Pittsburgh Pirate baseball games. She loved to cook, especially her famous dumplings, macaroni salad, and peanut butter eggs. Ann had a love for pizza, tomatoes, any pasta with red sauce, ice cream, and an ice cold “Frosty”. She will be deeply missed.
Ann is survived by her 5 loving children, Allan (Robin) Polohonki Jr. of Falls Creek, PA, Jill (George) Angelo of Madison, WI, Vicki (Greg) DeFeo of Pittsburgh, PA, Amy Ginther of St Marys, PA, and Marcy (Dave) Britten of Brockway, PA; 8 grandchildren, Aubri, Kelsey, Kailyn, Allie, Chanice, Jess, Chanell, and Rachel; and 5 great-grandchildren, Julianna, Skye, Brynlee, Willow, and Cooper.
Ann was preceded in passing by her parents, loving husband Allan Polohonki Sr., and three brothers, Paul McKee, Jim McKee, and Kay Don McKee.
All services will be held privately to the family.
