PENFIELD – The Parker Dam State Park swimming area has been closed for health safety.
According to the state park, a quality sampling showed that due to the recent heavy rains, the swimming area was deemed unsafe by the PA Department of Health.
The sand beach area and food and boat concession will remain open. The swimming are will reopen once it is safe to do so.
