DUBOIS – If you’re planning on attending the DuBois Community Days Parade this Saturday, you’ll notice some changes.
Organizers say that the parade route has been adjusted this year to avoid Main Street, allowing traffic, including commercial trucks, to move more freely and help maintain easier access to Penn Highlands DuBois.
The parade itself begins at 5pm Saturday and will feature marching bands, drum and bugle corps, floats, cheerleaders, and fire apparatus from across the region.
And new this year, the Nittany Highland Pipe and Drum Band from the Bellefonte area.
“A lot of folks look forward to the musical entertainment, that kind of thing that’s going to be part of the parade,” explained John Emerick.
Organizers say that the parade remains one of the biggest attractions of Community Days.
