DUBOIS – Hundreds of seniors toured dozens of booths at the DuBois Mall yesterday, getting valuable information to help their everyday lives.
The Senior Expo, which is put on by State Representative Mike Armanini and Senator Wayne Langerholc Jr., connected attendees with state agencies, aging services, elected officials, and other organizations providing information on programs and resources for older adults.
“We’re here for the people of our area and for them to take advantage of this and to know everything that what is out there for them to be in one location,” Armanini said.
In addition a “Fraud Bingo” offered a fun way to learn about fraud prevention and scams targeting seniors.
