BROCKPORT – A new barbecue establishment is getting ready to fire up in Brockport, where the community is just as important as the food.
Bam Bam BBQ, located at 3684 Route 219, is owned by Andy and Cindy Lescalleet, who moved to the area from Virginia, where they owned and operated Bam Bam BBQ out of a food truck.
They say they fell in love with the area, where Andy also has family roots, and are now pursuing their dream of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
While the couple says their barbecue style is flexible and focused on making the best food possible, they say what matters most goes beyond the menu.
“We’re just us, we will do whatever we can for you to help you. Same with the community, everybody,” explained Cindy Lescalleet,. “And we’re going to give you some good food. We’re going to give you some of the best service you’ve ever had.”
The business is still awaiting final approvals and putting the finishing touches in place, but they’re hoping to open in mid-June, starting with drive-thru service before eventually expanding to dine-in.
