Jeremy “Boof” Joseph Lundy, 54, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, while a patient at Allegheny West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Boof was born on March 17, 1972, to James Patrick and Patricia Jean (Burkett) Lundy in Punxsutawney, PA. He graduated from DuBois Area High School with the Class of 1990. Boof was employed at Niagara Cutter in Reynoldsville as a machinist for 36 years. Boof was a huge sports fan, supporting his favorite teams: Notre Dame, Miami Dolphins, Boston Celtics, and the Kansas City Royals. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was genuine, polite, and generous; always thinking of others before himself. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Boof is survived by three siblings: Jeanette (Robert) Mulhollan, James “Bud” (Judy) Lundy, and Justin Lundy; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Shannon) Muth, Heath (Jodee) Mulhollan, Paige (Chad) Covatch, and Patrick (Chelsea Allshouse) Lundy; and great nieces and nephews: Breelyn Muth, Brady Muth, Adam Muth, Claire Mulhollan, Cooper Mulhollan, Hunter Covatch, and Emma Covatch. He is preceded in passing by his father, James. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 12pm to 4pm, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 4pm.
