BROCKWAY – If you see emergency crews rushing to the Brockway Area School District tomorrow, don’t panic, it’s only a drill.
School officials are once again staging their annual mock DUI crash just ahead of prom, giving students a firsthand look at the consequences of impaired driving.
This simulation will involve two vehicles already crashed on site with student actors portraying victims.
Police, fire, and EMS will respond as if it were a real emergency, taking a “driver” into custody, transporting injured victims, and even demonstrating a fatal outcome.
This is only a drill so if you see or hear a heavy emergency response in the area, don’t be alarmed.
